2009年象限儀座流星雨
The annual Quadrantid meteor shower comes on January 3, peaking at12:50UT (favorable for central and western North America...now if wecan get the weather to cooperate...). The ground-based ZHR averages 120but ranges between 60 and 200. Observers are encouraged to monitor themoon from 24 hours prior to peak (that is 12:50 on January 2) to 24hours after peak (that is 12:50 on January 4). The moon is a waxingcrescent and the northern 2/3rds of the dark portion is favored foractivity.
